The Operational Health Physics I – Instrumentation Calibration, Preparation, and Use, Radiation in Industry, and External Dosimetry course is self-paced and can be completed as time allows. The course includes 20 modules and five webcasts. In order to complete the course, you will be required to pass an exam. You will have three attempts to successfully complete the exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, a course certificate of completion will be provided. Course materials are available on the ORAU PTP Learning Management System (LMS).
This course will be supported by weekly Q&A sessions via webinar to allow participants to ask questions and discuss difficult concepts with the course instructors.
This course is the second of the three required self-paced training modules as part of the new blended Applied Health Physics course. Successful completion of Applied Health Physics I – Fundamental Concepts and Detector Technologies is required before beginning this course.
